Getting Started
eBusiness System is built for small business with rich features. You may customize any part of the storefront as you wish. Before jumping right in, be sure to explore Admin thoroughly and understand how you can setup items, categories, custom pages, etc.
There is no right or wrong way to setup your storefront, but you should put thought into it, so you end up with a well organized storefront.
Below is a checklist of the most common "First Steps"

User Security: Secure access to Admin and change the password immediately. Set up level 2 users if you wish to assign other staff to manage part of your website. (Admin/Advanced/User Security)

Check the Email setup to make sure the email address and messages are correct. (Admin/Setup/Email)

Check the Order Thank You and Order Receipt to make sure the contents and company information are correct (Admin/Setup/Page Content/Other)

Check the Contact and make sure the information is correct (Admin/Setup/Page Content/Section/Contact Page Content)

Check the Tax settings and make sure the tax name, tax rates and State Taxes are correct. (Admin/Tax)

Setup Shipping Carriers and define shipping method and rates (Admin/Shipping)

Enable your Payment Gateway at Admin/General/Payment. Paypal is accepting credit cards even your customers are not the Paypal member. If you use Paypal, you have to apply your free account at Paypal.com and input the email address at the Admin/Payment (email address is the account ID).
